Vários meses após o lançamento da Xbox Series X|S, a Microsoft introduziu o FPS Boost, uma nova funcionalidade ao nível do sistema concebida para aumentar o desempenho em títulos compatíveis com a versão anterior. Embora Redmond tenha vindo a acrescentar títulos de todos os tipos ao longo dos anos, após celebrar o 20º aniversário da Xbox e acrescentar a funcionalidade a novos jogos, foi agora confirmado que o FPS Boost não será implementado em mais jogos no futuro imediato. É por isso que nós na Geração Xbox vamos deixar-vos com a lista actualizada de jogos melhorados com o FPS Boost.

O FPS Boost é uma tecnologia interessante que permite aos jogadores desfrutar de jogos retrocompatíveis com uma taxa de frame por segundo superior à da versão original. Sabemos que estas melhorias são alcançadas sem trabalho adicional do lado do desenvolvedor, mas mesmo assim, nem todos os jogos poderão desfrutar desta funcionalidade.
